Gameplay (Besiege The Game)

The concept of the game is to build a certain device that can fulfill the goal set on the passable level. Moving from level to level, it becomes more difficult to complete the task and the player has to upgrade his car for a specific purpose. This can be steel plate armor to protect against shooting archers, creating a catapult capable of shooting fireballs, or some kind of crane for transporting objects.

At each level, the player is given complete freedom of action. The only condition for passing the level is the fulfillment of the set goal (destruction of the building, destruction of the enemy, reaching the point, etc.) by a mechanism of limited size.

Besiege The Game: The player is presented with a planet with four islands, on which the game takes place. In version 0.45b, only three islands are available – Upsilon, Tolbrind and Walfross, and after the official release, the last fourth one – Krolmar was added. There were also plans for a fifth island and the moon, which could be seen in the main menu, but were removed after the update adding the Multiverse.

Separately, Besiege The Game represented a sandbox mode ( Engl. The sandbox ), where the player can build the device almost unlimited dimensions and test them on the map.

The game also has a Multiverse, which allows you to create your own levels and share them in the Steam Workshop. And sometimes some craftsmen go so far as to build levels comparable in size to the entire island from the plot!
