Strikers 1945 is the name of a series of vertical scrolling shoot’em ups of the Japanese company PSIKYO . The first part appeared in 1995 as an arcade version in JAMMA format and a year later for the Sony Playstation ported. Until 1999, two more parts and a new edition of the first part appeared.

The series is characterized above all by their scenario. Unlike usual shooters the game used as background and graphics set a mix of weapons technology of the Second World War and Science Fiction . Basically, the series picks so that concept and naming of Capcom -Klassikers 1942 and his successors.
