Worms 2 is game of military turn – based strategy developed by Team17 as part of the Worms series . 1 The game was released in 1997. The player controls a team of up to eight worms in combat against opposing teams. The game has the same premise as the original game , and involves control of an army of worms and using a collection of eclectic weapons such as bazookas, dynamite, grenades, cluster bombs, missiles homing pumps banana and Granada santa, 2to name some of the basic weapons used to kill worms teams. It has a completely new graphics system, going for a cartoon style, which has remained for the rest of the series.

The game is based on turns, with each team move in a fixed random sequence through the two-dimensional field. During one shift, a team can only move one of your worms. Worms can crawl and jump and oscillate ninja-rope parachute teleportation and bungee when appropriate items are available. The purpose of a traditional party or campaign mission is to defeat all opposing teams by killing their worms. Each worm begins the round with a specific amount of health that is predefined by the game options chosen or scripting in campaign levels. When struck with a weapon, the worm will lose health depending on the power of the weapon and openness of the coup.3

Worms 2 was the first game in the Worms series to offer a multiplayer mode TCP / IP Local and fully integrated line, in addition to the mode that allows up to 6 players compete. The online game is disabled in the digital version of GOG.com game.

The game includes a variety of weapons, including melee weapons, projectiles and explosives, and attacks based on airstrikes.
